Maxeum

About Maxeum

Its wings open off the Grand Gallery: the Dinosaur Hall, Space & Earth, The Spark & the Void, the Paradox Wing (an infinity mirror room, a vortex tunnel and impossible shapes), Ocean & Deep Sea and The Human Body.

How to play

1. Walk up to the lectern beside an exhibit and read it to collect its stamp in your Museum Passport.
2. Collect every stamp in a wing to open its quiz kiosk. Get 3 of 4 questions right to pass.
3. Each wing quiz pays MXC the first time you pass it, and a full Passport pays a bonus.
4. Many exhibits have buttons on their card: watch the asteroid hit, make the volcano erupt, dive the Mariana Trench, make the heart race. Friends near you see it too.
5. Signed in, you share the museum with everyone else: wave, call people over with "Over here!", or start a private tour from People and invite your friends.

What's in it

• Full dinosaur skeletons: Tyrannosaurus rex facing Triceratops, Brachiosaurus, Stegosaurus, a real-size Velociraptor and Quetzalcoatlus flying overhead
• Space & Earth: a turning Solar System, meteorites, the Moon, a cutaway Earth, a volcano, a crystal cave and Earth's history as one day
• The Spark & the Void: the Legend of Maximus World, from the Void to the Trials, and a Spark you can carry
• The Paradox Wing: an infinity mirror room, a vortex tunnel, a Penrose triangle, an endless staircase and classic optical illusions that show their trick
• Ocean & Deep Sea: a blue whale overhead, megalodon jaws, a giant squid, glowing deep-sea animals, the Mariana Trench, a coral reef, a turtle and an octopus
• The Human Body: a giant beating heart, the skeleton, the brain, DNA, the eye, the lungs, a cell and the inner ear
• Real, checked facts on every exhibit, a Museum Passport and a quiz for every wing
• Explore together live, or on a private tour with your friends
