About Who's the GOAT?

Filter both careers the same way (club or country, a competition, finals, home or away, a run of years or an age) and every number updates at once. Then go through the trophies and awards, and weigh up what matters to you to get your own verdict.

How it works

1. Head to head shows the totals for both players. Tap a quick filter such as Champions League, Finals or Without USA & Saudi, or open Filters to build your own.
2. Matches lists every game. Search for an opponent or a year, pick games they scored or assisted in, and tap a match to see its details.
3. Seasons races the two careers by age, so you can compare them at exactly the same point, and shows every season, calendar year or age as bars and a table.
4. Verdict gives each category to whoever leads it. Turn categories off, or make them count double or triple, and share who your GOAT is.
